•   Incentivize research and development to solve problems of local importance (biotechnology for the agricultural sector, renewable energy, and pollution reduction technology)

•   Promote a sustainable economy for the interior of the country

 

•   Promote logistics and infrastructure development in central provinces

 

•   Incubate a minimum of 25 companies in IP2 by 2022

 

•   Create one hundred (100) direct jobs through the establishment of IP2 in the first two years, in an economically depressed area (provinces of the interior), including highly qualified human resources to mitigate brain drain.   

 

•   Implement a dual education model with bilingual education to achieve training at the highest level.

 

•   Local low-cost production of FDA approved high-demand medication for national and regional markets (e.g. antibiotics, antidiabetics which is a current crisis for public health providers i.e. MINSA and CSS).

 

•   Deconcentrate population outside Panama City.
